This residential project with a simple program is articulated through dynamic intersecting volumes that create cantilevered planes forming a spacious wider veranda on the ground floor and a balcony on the first floor. The intersection is highlighted by contrasting materials of wood and a painted finish. The house opens towards the north with spaces flowing from exterior to interior from the lawn through the veranda into the interior spaces. A wood-cladded helical staircase forms the sculptural spine connecting the two levels of the house.
